The awards for Genshin Impact aren’t stopping there. The last five cities will be available to explore in future updates - all with their own quests for players to complete.
So far, players are only able to explore just two, Mondstadt and Liyue. The developers saying they will continue to add more story content and it will “likely take years to complete.” The game’s setting, the country of Teyvat, has seven major cities. Genshin Impact has had only one major update with a second reportedly coming later this month. In an interview with Gamesradar, miHoYo has big plans for the game. Thankfully, this year’s winner does all this without missing a beat.” This comes after the game made almost 400 million dollars in just two months after launch. Google’s listing explains the reason for the award, saying “any title crowned Best Game has to exceed expectations and deliver compelling, accessible, genre-defining experiences. The 2020 Google Play awards and Apple’s App Store Best of 2020 granted Genshin Impact the title of Game Of The Year this past week.
